The fundamental elements of a drum tab are the notes. DrumBurp thinks that there are three important things about each note:

  1. Which drum you hit
  2. When you hit it
  3. How you hit it

The whole point of DrumBurp is to allow you to enter the combination of these three pieces of information as quickly and as painlessly as possible. The most basic operations are adding and removing notes: this will be the majority of what you do with DrumBurp, so it’s as easy as a single click. There is also a special operation for allowing you to quickly add repeated notes, since this comes up quite a lot.
